I've ordered 8 of these. I have bought them from at least 3 other manufacturers, and I have to paint them or do some modifications. The only thing I do with yours is add a sash pull to the tray to make it easier to remove. I'll be getting more.

I prefer screened bottom boards. The ability to pull the tray and gain insight as to what is going on the hive without a deep inspection is a great time saver. I have sourced these from other suppliers, and I like yours. No need to make any modifications (other than adding a handle to the tray to make it easier to remove).
